Jammu, Sept 17: Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu commence Inter School District Level Selection Trials and Inter Zonal District Level Competitions U-19 Yrs. boys as well as AAG Boys at different venues of Jammu. These competitions commence in the discipline of Badminton, Kurah, Hockey, Netball, Table Tennis, Yoga and Wrestling at Jammu.
These competitions are being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Smt. Anuradha Gupta (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Smt. Vinakshi Koul (JKAS) along with Deputy Director Central Sh. Jetinder Mishra (JKAS) and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
These competitions providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents and vie for the victory in this esteemed tournament.
The primary goal of these competitions is to select the best talent for further participation in the next competition coming ahead.
DYSSO Jammu Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma appreciated the participants and motivated them to participate in games and sports. He advised the competitors to compete with sportsman spirit to show their best.
These competitions were being conducted by experts of the department Sanjay Khajuria, Kamal Singh, Sunil Abrol, Jatinder Kumar, Karanjeet Singh, Mandep Singh, Hardev Singh, Amolak Singh, Rekha Ratra,Gourav Sharma, Anil Kumar, Rajesh Bandral, Umesh Kumar, Govind Singh and other technical officials of the department.
