Jammu, Sept 19: Ananya Kotwal, a final-year student of the School of Architecture and Landscape Design, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), has brought laurels to the University by winning the National Poem Competition on “Unani Medicine for Innovative Health Solutions”, organized by CCRUM under the Ministry of AYUSH in collaboration with MyGov. Her poem was selected from among nearly 500 entries nationwide for its originality and creative portrayal of the holistic essence of Unani Medicine. The School of Architecture and Landscape Design at SMVDU, which was recently ranked 23rd in the NIRF Rankings, has always encouraged its students to unfurl their creativity and excel in diverse fields beyond academics. The Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, Prof. Pragati Kumar, along with Ar. Abhiney Gupta (Head, School of Architecture and Landscape Design), Ar. Navin Gupta (Associate Head, School of Architecture and Landscape Design), and all faculty members of architecture, congratulated the student on this outstanding achievement and wished her a bright future.
