Jammu, Sept 19, 2025, A series of health camps were organized at various stations in the Jammu Division on September 18, 2025, under the "Swastha Naari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan" campaign.
This is the first health care awareness and preventive screening campaign in the Jammu Division, aimed at empowering women and encouraging them to build strong families.
The program, led by Mr. Anil Kumar, Additional Chief Medical Superintendent, Jammu Division, was organized at all important stations in the division, including Jammu, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Pathankot, and Budgam.
The program focused on creating awareness about important issues related to women's health, including menstrual health, cancer prevention, and nutrition.
During this period, the Safai Mitras were also medically examined and protective equipment like masks, gloves etc. were distributed to them and they were informed about health related preventive and promotional measures.
