bishnah, Sept 18: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), National Cadet Corps (NCC), and National Service Scheme (NSS) of Government Degree College Bishnah jointly organized a Donation Drive on the occasion of Sewa Parv to extend support to the underprivileged families and students of the adopted village Chorli. The event was organized under the supervision of the Principal of the college, Dr. Shallu Samyal. The underprivileged families were identified by the Sarpanch of village Chorli, after which the distribution programme was held at the Panchayat Ghar. The drive was formally flagged off by senior faculty members Dr. Anju Bala and Dr. Vasudha Chaudhari, along with other dignitaries. During the event, ration boxes and clothes were distributed among the needy families, while stationery items were provided to the students of Primary School, Chorli. The event was successfully carried out with the active participation and presence of faculty members: Dr. Shrotika Rajput (Convener, IQAC), Dr. Koushal Kiran (Convener, Red Cross Committee), Dr. Geeta Lakhotra (NSS Programme Officer), Dr. Kusum (NCC ANO), Dr. Sapna Bhargav (Faculty, English), Dr. Sunil Saliada (HoD Hindi), Dr. Ashma Gupta (Faculty, Zoology), and Dr. Shiv (Faculty, Dogri Department). |
