Early Times Report REASI, Sept 19: The Indian Army organised a "Tea with Gujjar & Bakkarwal" at Chakalsalta to foster stronger bonds with the local population. A total of 68 members from the Gujjar and Bakkarwal communities, along with local representatives, participated in the programme. The gathering was held in a warm and cordial setting where participants were served tea and light refreshments. More than just a routine interaction, the event served as a meaningful platform for the Army to engage with the community, reaffirm its commitment to their welfare, and exchange views in an open environment. The initiative further strengthened mutual trust and nurtured a spirit of camaraderie and cooperation between the Army and the local populace. |
