REASI, Sept 19: In a significant step towards promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among local youth, the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Sukhdev Singh Samyal in the VC Hall, DC Office Complex.
The meeting was convened to review and assess applications under the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP), being implemented by the J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB).
During the detailed interview process, 76 out of 118 applications were approved and recommended for sponsorship to banks for financial assistance. The remaining 42 applicants did not appear for the interview.
