GMS Kenihama, AYUSH HWC Kenihama organise plantation drive | | | Early Times Report BUDGAM, Sept 20: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv celebrations, Government Middle School (GMS) Kenihama in collaboration with AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre (HWC) Kenihama today organised a plantation drive under the theme "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam". The program witnessed participation of students, teachers, healthcare staff and local community members who came together to plant saplings in and around the school & Health centre premises. The initiative was aimed at promoting environmental conservation, raising awareness about the importance of trees, and dedicating each plantation to the spirit of motherhood. Speaking on the occasion, the organisers highlighted that trees not only help in maintaining ecological balance but also symbolise nurturing, care and sustenance, which are main qualities closely associated with mothers. The participants pledged to protect and nurture the saplings to ensure their healthy growth. The joint effort by the school and AYUSH Centre reflects the commitment of both institutions towards creating a greener and healthier environment, while also instilling values of responsibility and sustainability among the younger generation. |
