Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 20: To mark the beginning of the new academic session, an Induction and Orientation Programme was organized at Govt Degree College Paloura for the newly admitted Semester 1 students. The programme was held under the guidance of the Principal, Dr Kulvinder Kour and was coordinated by the Student Welfare Committee. The event aimed to familiarize the freshers with the college's academic environment, departmental structures, co-curricular platforms, and support systems. Students were warmly welcomed and provided with essential information about the various academic departments, committees, and student clubs functioning within the college. Faculty members from all departments were introduced, along with the conveners of different committees and clubs, giving students an overview of the diverse opportunities available for academic and personal growth. In her inaugural address, the Principal of the college welcomed the new students and congratulated them on becoming a part of the college community.
