KPs highlight their genuine problems | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 20: The over all genuine problems of displaced Kashmiri Pandits living in forceful exile for last more than 37 years, highlighted time timely by several community leaders and social activists have yielded no concrete result so far and due to which the entire community feels depressed and demoralised which is a matter of serious concern and deserves humantarian consideration on priority basis with tangible output. In a statement issued today by notable community activist Vinod Pandita has appealed Union Home Minister and Lt. Governor J&K to address the genuine problems of Kashmiri Pandits which include formation of time bound return and rehabilitation policy, enhancement of meager monthly cash assistance from rupees 13000 to rupees 25000 per month, creation of new additional ten thousand jobs for educated unemployed youth, left out compensation to the damaged and gutted properties, retrieval & restoration of illegally grabbed migrant lands by anti social elements and implementation of defunct immovable migrant property act 1997 with serious accountability for sake of justice and equity on priority basis with tangible outputs. Pandita said that this Community has pinned great hopes in His Excellency Lt.Governor J&K who has done tremendous development and progress in J&K in all spheres of life during his five years tenure and expect early consideration of all these genuine problems for over all solace and immediate remedy. |
