JAMMU, Sept 20: In a determined move to clamp down on illegal mining and safeguard natural and public resources, the Jammu Police has intensified its operations across the Rural Zone, resulting in the seizure of two vehicles JK19 7581, JK14D8386 involved in the unauthorized extraction and transportation of minerals.
The vehicles were engaged in illegal mining activities, in violation of the existing mining laws. In the said case, the respective District Mining Officers were promptly informed for further legal action under the relevant provisions of the law.
The Jammu Police remains committed to curbing illegal mining and taking strict action against violators to protect the environment and uphold the rule of law. |
