Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated the construction of a lane and drainage system at Kaccha Talab in Ward No. 47. The inauguration took place in the presence of officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and prominent local dignitaries, including former corporator Smt. Sharda Devi. The project marks the fulfillment of a long-pending demand of the residents, who have been facing considerable issues due to the absence of proper drainage and road facilities. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Randhawa stated, "This project is part of our ongoing mission to ensure that every corner of the Bahu constituency sees development. No ward, no mohalla will be left behind. The people of Kaccha Talab have waited patiently, and today we are delivering on our promise." He further added that similar development initiatives are being implemented across various parts of the constituency and assured continued efforts to uplift the standard of living for all residents. He also urged the public to maintain the newly developed infrastructure and work hand-in-hand with civic authorities for a cleaner, greener Jammu. Local residents expressed gratitude towards the MLA and the administration for addressing their grievances and prioritizing basic infrastructure development. |
