NSS University of Jammu organised Blood Donation Camp and Nukkad Natak under "Sewa Parv"

JAMMU, Sept 24: The Office of the Programme Coordinator, NSS, and the Office of the Convenor, NSS Campus Units, organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Health Centre, University of Jammu, and staged a Nukkad Natak on the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat". These activities were organised under the Sewa Parv Programme.
More than 20 volunteers, along with faculty members, donated blood, emphasizing that "Blood donation is a life-saving act of solidarity that requires regular voluntary donations to ensure a safe and sustainable supply." Besides this, the NSS volunteers from the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) performed a Nukkad Natak on Nasha Mukt Bharat, conveying a message to society to eliminate this social evil for the prosperity of the youth and society.
Prof. Vishav Raksha, Convenor, NSS Campus Units, congratulated the volunteers who took part in both activities and further encouraged them to carry forward the NSS motto, "Not Me But You," in society. Dr. Hema Gandotra, Programme Coordinator, NSS, and Nodal Officer for Sewa Parv, University of Jammu, applauded the efforts made by the NSS volunteers to participate in such activities in addition to their ongoing academic activities.
The students performed the Nukkad Natak under the supervision of Dr. Rajbeer Singh, NSS Programme Officer (Unit-5), Dr. Neelam Choudhary, and Dr. Jatinder Singh, faculty, CDOE. Dr. Bharat Bhushan (CMO), Health Centre, University of Jammu, coordinated the blood donation camp with GMC Jammu. Dr. Shallu Sehgal and Dr. Monika Bhardwaj, NSS Programme Officers from different units of NSS, Dr. Shubnandan Singh Jamwal, and Dr. Nitan Sharma were among others who were present during the event.
