JAMMU, Sept 24: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Jammu Police seized four tractors along with trollies loaded with illegally mined material in Khour area of Rural Zone.
The seized vehicles include:
New Holland (Chassis No. NHN36300ZKF473335)
New Holland (Chassis No. NHN36300ZGH362000)
New Holland (Chassis No. NHN36000ZLG510062)
Sonalika (Chassis No. MZ1DG714392S3)
The vehicles were found engaged in illegal mining activities, in clear violation of mining laws.The District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action under relevant provisions of law. Jammu Police has reiterated its commitment to curb illegal mining and warned that strict action will continue against violators to protect the environment and uphold the rule of law. |
