Rahul Sahai, Chairman ICC Jammu, addresses ICC's Global Business Summit 2025 in Mumbai

MUMBAI, Sept 24: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) successfully hosted its Global Business Summit 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, with the theme "One Nation, Multiple Opportunities."
The two-day summit brought together global leaders, senior government officials, industry stalwarts, and delegates from more than 20 partnering countries like Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy ,Israel etc. The summit among others were also addressed by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Milind Deora Member Parliament, Ranjan Gogoi Former CJI & Member Rajya Sabha, R Venkata Ramani Attorney General of India and Representatives of various Indian states Governments , making it one of the most significant business gatherings of the year.
Discussions spanned across key sectors including defence & aerospace, petrochemicals, green technology, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, infrastructure, AI , fintech, and industrial growth, with focused state sessions highlighting investment opportunities across India.
Rahul Sahai, Chairman, Indian Chamber of Commerce Jammu , attended and addressed the summit, where he showcased the unique strengths of Jammu in particular and Jammu & Kashmir in general. In his address, Mr. Sahai lauded the remarkable work done under the leadership of Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K since 2021, in driving industrial growth, promoting sports, boosting tourism, maintaining peace, and transforming the overall ecosystem of the Union Territory. He further emphasized that with Shri Omar Abdullah and his cabinet now taking things forward, Jammu & Kashmir is leading from the front and creating new benchmarks of development and progress.
Highlighting the role of ICC Jammu, Mr. Rahul Sahai underlined that the chapter is working vibrantly for the overall growth and development of the Union Territory, while paying special focus on Jammu's industrial, trade, and tourism potential. He extended a warm invitation to the visiting dignitaries, global investors, and delegates from participating countries and states to invest in Jammu & Kashmir and experience the opportunities and vibrancy of the region.
The summit witnessed high-level deliberations on India's growth roadmap in sync with Honb'l Prime Minister of India Sh Narinder Modi's Vision of Viksit Bharat by the year 2047, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, global partnerships, and inclusive development. Mr. Sahai's intervention drew wide appreciation as he projected Jammu & Kashmir as an emerging hub for industry, tourism, and international collaborations.
