Jammu/Samba, Sept 30: Humanity Public School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Mahanavami and Dussehra with great fervor and enthusiasm. The school assembly was a vibrant display of Indian culture and tradition showcasing the students talents and creativity.
The programme began with Arti of Maa Durga and Lord Rama by the Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak accompanied by Vice Principal Ms. Anku Charak, Administrative Incharge Mr. Akashdeep Raina, Incharge of Higher Secondary Wing Mr. Parsidh Singh, Incharge of High/Middle Wing Ms. Namrata Sharma, Incharge of Primary Wing Ms. Vandana Sharma, Incharge of Pre-Primary wing Ms. Aparna Billowria, IT Incharge Er. Varinder Kumar and Sports Incharge Mr. Mahan Singh.
The auspicious occasion started with a captivated presentation by Navya and Ashwik from Classes 9th and 10th. Priyal of class 3rd shared her topic on the mythological significance of Mahanavami. Sakshi of class 10th discussed the relevance of Dussehra in modern times. Ms. Badushi, a teacher from primary wing enlightened the students on the cultural importance of Mahanavami and Dusshera.
Sehajpreet from class 3rd recited a heartfelt poem on Mata Durga. Anshika from class 6th Shared a poem highlighting the triumph of good over evil. Students from Middle and Primary wing classes presented a soulful Bhajan under the able guidance of music teachers Mr. Rajan and Mr. Kumar Abhilash and while the KG Wing students dazzled with their energetic dance performance. The KG Wing students also presented a beautiful act depicting Mata Durga's various forms.
Students from the Middle and High wings performed a dramatic Dusshera act showcasing the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana.
The assembly concluded with an inspiring speech by the Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal Ms. Anku Charak. They emphasized the values of courage, righteousness, and the triumph of good over evil, highlighting the significance of these festivals in today's world. The event was a testament to the school's commitment to fostering cultural awareness and appreciation among its students.
