Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 1: Balbir Ram Rattan, National General Secretary of the Indian Branch of British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation, has said that RSS has done yeoman's service to the nation over the last 100 years.
He said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been dedicatedly serving the nation and its people and contributed towards it during the last 100 years. On the eve of completing 100 years of RSS, Balbir Ram Rattan said that the organization has played a vital role in uniting Indian society, eradicating caste-based discrimination, and fostering a strong sense of national pride.
He stated that the RSS has consistently worked towards building a cohesive and inclusive society, one where people of all backgrounds can live together in harmony. According to Balbir, the guiding principles of the RSS closely align with the teachings of Guru Ravidass, who advocated for equality, unity, and brotherhood among all sections of society. He noted that the values of social justice and unity promoted by Guru Ravidass are reflected in the initiatives undertaken by the RSS across the country.
The British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation, a UK-based social organization working globally to spread the teachings of Guru Ravidass described the 100-year journey of the RSS as historic and deeply inspiring. The Foundation acknowledged the unwavering commitment of the RSS towards nation-building and societal upliftment.
Balbir further said that in a diverse and culturally rich country like India, the importance of organizations that promote unity, social harmony, and patriotism cannot be ignored. He lauded the RSS for becoming the world's largest voluntary social organization, known for its values, discipline, and tireless service to the nation.
British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation extends heartfelt congratulations to this esteemed organization on completing 100 years of service, and wish success in their noble mission, he added.
He also highlighted the RSS's humanitarian efforts during times of war, peace, and natural disasters, where their volunteers have served selflessly to help those in need. According to him, such organizations are not just relevant today but serve as an inspiration for future generations. He urged every Indian citizen to contribute to and support institutions that work for national development and social upliftment.
