Kathua, Oct 3: The SW Wing of 4 J&K Bn NCC of GDC Kathua, organized its prestigious Rank Ceremony on 3rd of October 2025 to confer ranks upon deserving cadets for their outstanding dedication, leadership, and service.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Pinkey CTO, 4 J&K Bn NCC, followed by an inspiring speech by the Dr. Yash Paul, HOD Urdu who emphasized the values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism embodied by the NCC. Prof Neelam Bhagat, HOD Home Science was the chief guest of this occasion who have graced this occasion along with Prof. Shalini Gupta and Prof. Shivani Kotwal.
The highlight of the event was the formal pipping of ranks, where cadets were awarded ranks such as Senior Under Officer (SUO), Junior Under Officer (JUO) and Sergeant (Sgt).
Payal Devi was awarded with SUO rank, Bhagyashree and Leela Devi were awarded with JUO Rank and Bhumika Mehra and Arsha Devi were awarded with SGT Rank. The newly appointed rank holders pledged to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them and serve as role models for their fellow cadets.
Dr. Savi Behl worthy principal of the college congratulated the cadets and encouraged them to carry forward the NCC legacy with pride and integrity. The whole event was conducted under the guidance of worthy principal of the college Dr. Savi Behl and was coordinated by ANO, Lt. (Dr.) Daya Ram and CTO, Dr. Pinkey of 4 J&K Bn NCC unit of college. |
