Rozgar Mahakumbh-2025 in Gorakhpur: Over 10,000 youth to get jobs in UAE and Oman

LUCKNOW, Oct 7: Under the Yogi government's Mission Rozgar, another major step has been taken to expand global employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. After the successful three-day Employment Mahakumbh held in Lucknow under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Employment Department will now organize Employment Mahakumbh-2025 at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, from October 14 to 15.
This mega job fair will offer 10,855 vacancies across various construction and allied sectors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman, with monthly salaries ranging from Rs 24,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh, along with free food and accommodation.
The initiative aims to reduce unemployment and boost the state's economy through foreign remittances. Particularly beneficial for the youth of Purvanchal, the event will provide opportunities to showcase their skills on a global platform, advancing the goal of a self-reliant India.
The previous Rozgar Mahakumbh 2025 in Lucknow exceeded expectations-against a target of 10,000, as many as 16,897 youth were selected for employment in India and abroad.
During the upcoming Gorakhpur Mahakumbh, 10,855 positions will be filled, focusing on both skilled and unskilled roles such as construction workers, supervisors, drivers, and carpenters. Key vacancies include:
Rigging Supervisor (UAE & Oman): 6 posts, Rs 1,20,760/month
Mobile Pump Operator: 50 posts, Rs 90,643/month
Transit Mixer Driver (UAE): 50 posts, Rs 72,514/month
Civil Foreman: 15 posts, Rs 66,422/month
Heavy Truck Driver (UAE): 50 posts, Rs 58,011/month
Heavy Bus Driver (UAE License): 50 posts, Rs 53,177/month
Shuttering Carpenter: 1,000 posts, Rs 28,800/month
Construction Helper: 4,500 posts, Rs 24,000/month
To ensure transparency and digital efficiency, the Employment Department has uploaded all vacancy details on its official portal - rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in. Interested candidates can register and apply online. Selected candidates will receive QR code-linked admit cards for interviews, ensuring a transparent and streamlined recruitment process.
P.K. Pundir, Additional Director, Employment Department, said this initiative is a golden opportunity for Uttar Pradesh's youth and a significant step towards establishing their global identity.
