Ramban Police recovered Cannabis (Charas) like substance 10/7/2025 9:42:36 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Oct 7: In continuation of drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Ramban Police apprehended one person and recovered Cannabis (Charas) like Substance from his Possession. A team of Police Station Ramban while on Patrolling / checking duty at Cafteria Morh Ramban, intercepted an individual moving in suspicious circumstances. On questioning the person disclosed his identity as Balvinder Sharma son of Jagan Nath Sharma resident of Jhakhani near Talab Tehsil and District Udhampur. During the process of checking approx 200 grams of Cannabis(Charas) like substance was recovered from his possession.On this,case FIR No 209/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stand registered at PS Ramban.The above named person has been taken into police custody and Contraband seized by observing all legal formalities required under the Law.The investigation of the case is underway to establish the backward and forward linkages.Ramban police is committed to ensure zero tolerance against substance abuse and its promotors.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
