Free medical checkup camp for vendors, cooks, and porters | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 9: Indian Railways launched a significant initiative as part of the ongoing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 5.0. As part of this initiative, a free medical checkup camp was organized at Pathankot Railway Station in the Jammu Division for all vendors, cooks, and porters working on the station premises. The objective is to ensure that those providing a clean and healthy environment to rail passengers remain physically fit. The camp was organized under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, Additional Chief Medical Officer. Various health parameters were checked, with key highlights being: eye checkup, blood pressure measurement, sugar test, general tests, and other important health-related consultations. At the medical camp, the medical team sensitized all employees about the importance of cleanliness. A large number of employees participated in the campaign and appreciated the initiative. |
