Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 11: Over a span of three days - October 7th, 9th, and 11th, 2025 - a total of 100 students, under the supervision of Clinical Tutors Sonali Sharma, Aasia Manzoor, Shrishta Sotra, and Ritika Devi representing Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing, Chak Bhalwal, Jammu visited the Home for the Aged and Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu. The visits were organized with the noble objective of spreading joy among the elderly residents and promoting awareness about physical and emotional well-being. During each visit, the students presented a variety of engaging activities including skits, yoga sessions, meditation practices, poems, songs, dances, and fun games such as Musical Chairs. The inmates actively participated in the performances, singing, dancing, and joining in the games with enthusiasm and delight. Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Home, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the College Management for deputing their faculty and students for this compassionate outreach. He appreciated their efforts in bringing smiles and positive energy to the residents. On the occasion, the students also distributed fruits and woolen socks to all the inmates as a token of love and care.
