Reflecting on student life, he reminded graduates to cherish their experiences and draw strength from them as they navigate future challenges, emphasizing that India's greatest potential lies in transforming its challenges into opportunities. In his address, Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur, Director, IIT Jammu, congratulated the graduating class and shared an inspiring message on curiosity, resilience, and purpose. Drawing parallels with India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, he highlighted how determination and innovation can overcome limitations, urging students to view constraints as opportunities. He emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, encouraging graduates to create value through their work and ensure their innovations serve society meaningfully. Prof. Gaur reminded them to remain grounded in their roots, be fearless in exploring new paths, and build friendships that last beyond professional networks. A highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of 'Trishunya: The Infinite Circle of Growth,' a magnificent new sculpture dedicated to the graduating class of 2025. The sculpture embodies the human spirit of pursuit through its three spheres - Curiosity, Resilience, and Vision. Curiosity ignites the desire to explore and discover new paths; Resilience reflects the strength to embrace challenges and transform setbacks into growth; and Vision dares one to dream beyond the known and aspire toward greater horizons. Together, these virtues unite into Trishunya - a profound symbol of the infinite cycles of learning, growth, and creation. Standing tall on the campus, the sculpture serves as a timeless reminder for the IIT Jammu community to remain grounded yet ever-reaching.
