AMRITSAR, Oct 11: A compelling talk 'Igniting Minds, Strengthening Communities', on the profound importance and impact of the National Service Scheme (NSS) was successfully conducted by the NSS Department of DAV College Amritsar. The talk witnessed enthusiastic participation from over hundred NSS volunteers, students, and faculty members. "An NSS volunteer is not just a student; they are a change-agent in the making," said Principal Dr Amardeep Gupta . He added ,"The discipline, empathy, and problem-solving skills you cultivate here will be your greatest assets, both in your professional and personal lives. This is where you learn the true meaning of service and its power to transform society." NSS Officer Dr Samriti Aggarwal told that the talk delved deep into the core philosophy of NSS-"Not Me, But You." Dav eloquently articulated how the scheme is much more than a mandatory academic requirement; it is a powerful platform for personal transformation and community development.
