Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 11: Today, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa initiated the long-pending tile work in Ward No. 20, Gandhi Nagar, fulfilling a major demand of the local residents. The work was started in the presence of officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and prominent dignitaries including Rahul Kumar (Mandal President), Daljit Singh Ji, Bhushan Verma Ji, Rajesh Padha, Anil Khajuria, Rocky, Pawan Gupta, and other local representatives. Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said, "This work was a long-pending demand of the people of Gandhi Nagar, and I am happy to see it finally taking shape. Our focus is on improving the basic infrastructure and ensuring that every resident gets the benefit of development equally. I have directed the concerned officers to complete this work with the best quality and within the shortest possible time." He further said, "Clean surroundings and good civic facilities are the foundation of a healthy society. Together, we will make Bahu Constituency clean, green, and model for others to follow. I request all citizens to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and protecting public property." He also assured that similar developmental works related to lanes, drains, and street lights will be undertaken soon in other parts of the constituency. Residents expressed gratitude to the MLA for addressing this long-pending demand of Gandhi Nagar and lauded his proactive approach toward public welfare and area development. |
