Jammu, June 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the last 12 years of his government have been dedicated to building trust, accelerating development, and ensuring public welfare, while reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to achieving the vision of a developed India.
Marking the completion of 12 years of the NDA government at the Centre, the Prime Minister said the government's efforts have been guided by the principle of “Nation First” and supported by the blessings of 140 crore Indians.
In a post on social media platform X, Modi said his government had worked relentlessly to empower the country's youth, women, and farmers, describing them as key stakeholders in India's growth story.
“Our government’s last 12 years have been dedicated to trust, development, and public welfare. With the blessings of 140 crore countrymen and the spirit of ‘Nation First’, we have left no stone unturned in empowering our youth, women, and farmer brothers and sisters,” the Prime Minister said. He credited the government's sustained efforts for transforming various sectors and strengthening India's position on the global stage.
“It is the result of our relentless efforts that today the country has gained a new identity across the world, from infrastructure development to the digital revolution,” he said.
Reiterating his government's commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India), the Prime Minister said the Centre would continue to move forward on the path of service, good governance, and prosperity.
“We will continue to advance on this path of service, good governance and prosperity to realise the dream of a developed India,” he added.
The Prime Minister’s remarks came as the BJP-led NDA government completed 12 years in office, with the ruling alliance highlighting its achievements in infrastructure, welfare delivery, digital governance, economic reforms and social empowerment under the theme “12 Years of Seva”.
