Modi Govt's anti-infiltration 3D policy is 'Detect, Delete, Deport': Rohiin Chandan | | | early times report
Jammu, Oct 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rohiin Chandan today emphasized the Modi government’s resolute commitment to addressing the critical issue of illegal infiltration through its comprehensive three-pronged policy: Detect, Delete, and Deport. Issuing a press note, Chandan underscored that infiltration, demographic change, and democracy are deeply interconnected challenges that directly impact India’s border security, cultural heritage, linguistic diversity, and national identity. He urged citizens, particularly the youth, to actively engage with these issues to protect the nation’s unity and sovereignty. Chandan elaborated on the Modi government’s 3D anti-infiltration policy, which focuses on a systematic approach to tackling illegal infiltration. The first pillar, Detect, involves leveraging advanced technology, intelligence, and coordinated efforts among security agencies to identify infiltrators attempting to cross India’s borders. The second pillar, Delete, ensures the removal of identified infiltrators from voter lists and other official records to prevent undue influence on India’s democratic processes. The final pillar, Deport, emphasizes the swift and lawful deportation of illegal infiltrators to their countries of origin, reinforcing India’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty. “Illegal infiltration is not merely a security issue; it poses a significant threat to our cultural fabric, linguistic diversity, and democratic values,” said Chandan. “The Modi government’s 3D policy is a bold and decisive step to address this challenge head-on. By detecting infiltrators, removing their access to our democratic systems, and ensuring their deportation, we are protecting the essence of India’s identity and independence.” Chandan distinguishes infiltrators from refugees, stating that refugees flee to India for religious protection, while infiltrators cross the border illegally for economic motives. He asserts that allowing anyone to enter India would undermine the nation's integrity, likening it to a Dharamshala. He called upon the youth to play a pivotal role in raising awareness about the implications of infiltration and demographic changes. He stressed that an informed and vigilant citizenry is essential to preserving India’s unity in diversity. “The youth are the torchbearers of our nation’s future. They must understand the gravity of these issues and actively participate in safeguarding our borders and democratic institutions,” he urged. He also praised the Modi government’s broader efforts to strengthen national security, including enhanced border surveillance, modernization of security forces, and diplomatic initiatives to address cross-border challenges. He reiterated that the 3D policy reflects the government’s zero-tolerance stance on threats to India’s sovereignty and its unwavering commitment to protecting the aspirations of its citizens. Chandan concluded by appealing to all Indians to support the government’s initiatives and work collectively to ensure a secure, prosperous, and united India. “Together, we can build a nation that remains true to its cultural roots while advancing as a global leader,” he said. |
