Akhnoor, Oct 12: A General Body Meeting of the Cooperative Marketing Society, Akhnoor was held today at Tilak Tent House under the chairmanship of Mr. Ashok Sharma.
All board members and representatives from ten affiliated societies attended the meeting, including four former Chairmen of the Society.
During the meeting, various important issues concerning the functioning of the society were discussed. It was unanimously decided that all primary societies (PACS) under the Cooperative Marketing Society, Akhnoor will be given first preference in all matters, particularly those related to the distribution and allocation of shops.
The decision was welcomed by all members present, marking a significant step towards strengthening the cooperative network and ensuring fair opportunities for all affiliated societies.
