Jammu, Oct 12: ontinuing its drive against habitual offenders and anti-social elements, Pacca Danga Police Station has successfully executed a detention warrant under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against Shubham Gill @ Maya S/o Lt. Sh. Pawan Gill R/o H.No. 105, Dogra Hall, Jammu.
The detention warrant issued by the District Magistrate, Jammu, was executed by team of Police Station Pacca Danga headed by SHO PS PACCA DANGA ,Inspector Rakesh Mani under the supervision of SDPO City North and SP City North.
As per legal procedure, the detenu was medically examined at Government Hospital before being lodged in District Jail Udhampur. During the execution process, the grounds of detention were read over and explained to the detenu in the language he understands, and the entire procedure was videographed/photographed in compliance with PSA guidelines.
The action demonstrates the firm commitment of Jammu Police, particularly Pacca Danga Police, towards maintaining peace, law, and order and ensuring that individuals indulging in activities prejudicial to public safety are dealt with strictly under law.
