Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 12: Under the divine blessings of Jai Dev Ji(dada ji) and supervision of Shri Ajay Takoo of the National Organisation Sewa Bharti (Regd.), an inspiring Sewa Project titled “Athroot” was successfully levelled up and promoted at Sewa Dhaam, Jagti, Nagrota.
The initiative aims to encourage, empower, and support Kashmiri migrant women by engaging them in the creation and marketing of self-crafted products. A unique and commendable feature of the project is that 100% of the profits generated will be dedicated to the welfare and upliftment of Kashmiri migrant women, embodying the true essence of selfless service (Sewa).
The programme was graced by Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner, as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Shri Ambrish Sharma, while Smt. Nupur Saxena attended as the Special Invitee.
The event was efficiently organised under the able guidance of Smt. Anjli Radhu and Dr. Swapnil Sachan, Coordinators of Athroot – Sewa Dhaam, with active support from Kiran, Kamal, Santosh, Ritu, Maanshi, Sunita, Kanta, Nanci, Mr. Anil and sewa bharti karyakarta Surbhi ji,Nupur ji and Seema ji.
During the programme, Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain presented a self-composed poem narrating the inspiring journey and noble vision behind Athroot.
Through his poetic expression, he urged people to extend wholehearted support to this noble initiative so that its benefits may reach the most deserving sections of society.
Dr. Swapnil Sachan elaborated on the medicinal and natural properties of the handmade soaps produced under the project, highlighting that they are crafted with pure glycerin, aloe vera, saffron, turmeric, and coconut oil—ensuring both premium quality and health benefits.
Shri Ambrish Sharma and Ms. Neena Gupta from Sewa Bharti also shared their insightful thoughts, appreciating the commendable efforts of the participating women and the spirit of Sewa that drives the entire initiative.
The event concluded with a warm Vote of Thanks by Smt. Anjli Radhu, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, organisers, and participants for their valuable support and encouragement.
The entire programme beautifully reflected the soul of Sewa Bharti’s mission—transforming compassion into action and “Athroot” into a living symbol of empowerment, dignity, and hope for Kashmiri migrant women.
