Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 15: Today, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa visited Digiana area to review and address various civic issues being faced by the residents. The main issues raised by the locals included the desilting of the canal and the start of construction of the new Ward Office near Police Post Digiana. Officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), the Incharge Police Post Digiana, and local dignitaries were also present during the visit. MLA Randhawa gave on-spot directions to the concerned officials to ensure the early desilting of the canal and proper supervision of the ongoing Ward Office construction work. He instructed the JMC officials to maintain the quality of work and ensure timely completion for the convenience of local residents. Local residents thanked MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa for personally visiting their area, listening to their grievances, and taking prompt steps for redressal. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that public service and development are his top priorities. He added, "Our focus is on strengthening basic infrastructure and ensuring that every developmental work benefits the people directly. There will be no compromise in the quality or pace of ongoing works. Every corner of Bahu constituency will witness visible change through collective efforts and people's participation in development." He further assured that continuous efforts will be made to make the Bahu constituency clean, green, and fully developed. He also expressed gratitude to all officials and local residents for their cooperation and support during the visit, emphasizing that development is a shared responsibility. |
