Kathua police organised debate competition | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Oct 17: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS today organized a debate competition at Government Degree College Billawar (PS Billawar). A total 06 students enthusiastically participated in the event, expressing their views on the ill effect of drug abuse. Among the participants, three students were adjudged as Winner, 1st Runner-up namely Sonika Sharma .2. Runner -up Trisha Rajput and 3rd winner Divya Rajput while other participants received memento of participation to encourage their efforts. Principal Government Degree College Billawar Dr. Alka Sharma graced the occasion as the Chief of Guest, along with Sh. Puran Chand Retired Dy.SP as Guest of Honor. The event witnessed an active presence of College staff and students. Addressing the gathering SHO Police Station Billawar Inspr. Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar highlighted the disadvantages and harmful effects of drug abuse, urging the youth to stay away from Narcotics and channel their energy toward nation-building. The event concluded with a pledge to strengthen collective efforts toward making society free from the menace of drugs. |
