SMVDU's School of Architecture organised workshop | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 19: School of Architecture and Landscape design (SoALD), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra in its commitment to impart superlative hands-on and skill-oriented teaching-learning, organised 3-days workshop for its students. The skill-enhancement workshop focused on the topic 'Micro-Climatology assessment' and involved rigorous hands-on training sessions via popular platforms-'ENVI-Met' and 'Urban Climate' softwares. The training platforms have a great relevance in the current industry, besides a significant addition in the profiles of the students for their employability. The experts, Ar. Amarnath Sharma and Ar. Kshitij Kacker, invited were from department of Architecture and Planning, IIT Roorkee, who are apparently in receipt of Prime Minister Research fellowship (PMRF) for their ongoing Doctoral research studies.
