Chandigarh, Oct 31: Dr. Shubham Saini, a fellow in the Pediatric Radiology section of the Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER, Chandigarh*, was awarded first prize in the oral paper category at the Annual Meeting of the Asian and Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR) held in Doha, Qatar, from October 24–26, 2025. His research work, titled *“Diagnostic utility of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in pediatric interstitial edematous pancreatitis: a preliminary experience,” was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Akshay Saxena, Prof. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi, Dr. Anmol Bhatia, and Prof. Sadhna B Lal. Commenting on the achievement, *Prof. Paramjeet Singh, Head of the Department of Radiodiagnosis, said, “It is a matter of great pride for the department and the institute.” |
