KISHTWAR, Nov 2: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar today, paid obeisance at the sacred Shri Machail Mata Temple at Machail, Kishtwar and sought the blessings of the holy deity for peace, prosperity and the well-being of the people of the region. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, SSP Kishtwar and SDM Paddar. During the visit, the Divisional Commissioner inspected the progress of ongoing development works en-route from Chisoti to Machail, as well as at Shri Machail Mata Bhawan and the Yatra Parisar construction adjacent to the temple. He also assessed the pace of construction activities aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims. The Divisional Commissioner further inspected the Yatri Bhawan being constructed under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Dormitory being developed by the Tourism Department. He directed the concerned officials for expediting the completion of all works to ensure enhanced amenities for devotees and visitors. The Divisional Commissioner also took stock of the existing amenities and facilities at Machail and directed the concerned authorities to augment the number of units while ensuring their proper maintenance and functionality. He emphasized the importance of clean and well-maintained amenities for the convenience and comfort of the visiting pilgrims. The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the construction of road under the Palali to Machail Road Project, which will provide road connectivity to the revered Machail Mata Darbar. |
