JAMMU, Nov 9: A cricket tournament was organized in the Jammu Division of Northern Railway. The tournament was held at the Jammu University grounds. The cricket tournament was played between two departments of the Railway: Operations and Commercial. The Operations team was led by Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Arish Bansal, and the Commercial team was led by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal. Batting first, the Operations team scored 109 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Operations captain Arish Bansal scored 35 runs off 50 balls. In the second innings, the Commercial Department performed brilliantly and won the match. During their innings, Commercial captain Uchit Singhal, batting first, scored 50 runs off 40 balls. He remained not out until the end of the match. Uchit Singhal, batting brilliantly, led the Commerce Department to a 112-run victory. Playing for the Commerce Department in this thrilling match, Uchit Singhal made a crucial contribution of 50 runs and played a key role in the team's victory.
