Srinagar, Nov 20: Srinagar Police is seeking public assistance in identifying motorcyclist involved in hit and run case.
In a statement, Police Station Nigeen received information regarding a hit-and-run incident at Tailbal Adda, where an unknown motorcyclist, driving rashly and negligently, struck a pedestrian identified as Ab. Rashid Gojri son of Ab. Rehman Gojri resident of Kangan.
The motorcyclist fled the scene immediately after the incident. The injured pedestrian was shifted to SKIMS Soura for medical treatment; however, he later succumbed to his injuries, it reads.
Statement reads, During the course of investigation, CCTV footage from the vicinity was analysed, and a photograph of the suspected motorcyclist was obtained.
