Chandigarh, Nov 21: NHPC Limited (A Government of India Navratna Enterprise), Regional Office Chandigarh, successfully organized an ISO–IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) Awareness Programme and Management Review Session on dated 21.11.2025 (Friday) under the Chairmanship of Executive Director, Shri Aditya Gautam. The objective of the programme was to further strengthen the organization’s commitment towards quality, efficiency, and continual improvement.
During the awareness session, Shri Anurag Choudhary, Group Senior Manager, delivered an in-depth presentation on key standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System). He discussed standard requirements, documentation processes, internal audit techniques, and ways to enhance organizational performance through ISO-based management systems.
The participants found the session highly informative and beneficial.
Following the awareness programme, a Management Review Meeting was conducted, where Executive Director Sh. Shri AdityaGautam reviewed the performance of the existing management systems, recent audit reports, and customer/stakeholder feedback. He also discussed opportunities for improvement. Important decisions were taken to further enhance the organization’s efficiency, transparency, and quality standards.
