YRS felicitation of newly appointed President Mandeep Singh Rimpy held at Press Club Jammu
11/21/2025 6:57:26 PM

early times report

Jammu, Nov 21: Yuva Rajput Sabha–J&K (YRS) today organised a dignified and well-attended felicitation ceremony at the Press Club Jammu to honour its newly appointed President, Mandeep Singh Rimpy. The day marked a significant moment of unity and renewed collective spirit within the Rajput community of Jammu & Kashmir.
In the esteemed presence of Rajput Biradari heads, Core Committee Members, Founder Members Rajinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Rajesh Singh and YRS representatives from district, tehsil, and various organisational levels, Mandeep Singh Rimpy was ceremonially facilitated and honoured with the traditional Pagri, symbolising the mantle of leadership and community trust. The Pagri ceremony was carried out by the Founder Members and Ex-Presidents of the Sabha.
The formal announcement appointing Mandeep Singh Rimpy as the new President of YRS was made by Adv. Pushvinder Singh, Core Committee Member, amidst applause and visible enthusiasm from the audience.
Following the announcement, the gathering was addressed by Mandeep Singh Rimpy, Rajinder Singh (Chief Patron), Vikram Singh Vicky (Ex-President), and Rajan Singh Happy (Ex-President).
Mandeep Singh expressed his gratitude to the Biradari and YRS for placing their trust in him and assured dedicated efforts to strengthen the organisation across all regions.
Rajinder Singh highlighted the importance of unity and discipline, emphasising that the Sabha stands strongest when the entire community moves forward collectively.
Vikram Singh Vicky appreciated the consensus-based decision and encouraged all members to cooperate wholeheartedly with the new leadership for the community’s progress.
Rajan Singh Happy called upon the youth to participate actively in the Sabha’s programmes and reaffirmed the need to protect the honour and dignity of the Rajput community.
It is important to recall that on 20-08-2025, during a transparent and consensus-driven meeting held in the presence of Biradari representatives, Core Committee members, and senior leaders, YRS unanimously resolved that:
• Sh. Sanjeev Singh Rinku would serve as President for three months, and thereafter
• Sh. Mandeep Singh Rimpy would assume the Presidentship of YRS for the next two years.
This structured transition was designed to restore organisational harmony and ensure smooth and democratic leadership. Today’s felicitation ceremony marks the official implementation of that decision before the community, leadership, and media.
Speakers unanimously expressed confidence that under the leadership of Sh. Mandeep Singh Rimpy, Yuva Rajput Sabha will continue its mission with renewed strength, commitment, and dedication toward the welfare, honour, and upliftment of the Rajput community across Jammu & Kashmir.
