Samba, Nov 21: Army Public School Samba conducted Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 on 21 November 2025, celebrating youthful energy and the spirit of - EkGhanta Khel KeMaidan Mein. The event commenced at 9:30 AM, marked by a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Chairman APS Samba,followed by the welcome address and the melodious welcome song rendered by the school choir. The ceremonial March Past and oath-taking set a disciplined and spirited tone for the day.
A special highlight of the opening ceremony was the moment when the Chief Guest formally declared the meet open by releasing pigeons into the air, symbolising peace, freedom, and the soaring aspirations of young athletes.
The field was soon transformed into a vibrant arena as the youngest learners of Balvatika took centre stage in the Rabbit Race, Hawaiian Race, and Relay Race, winning hearts with their enthusiasm. The lively Dance Drill by Balvatika I, II, and III added charm to the opening segment.
This event brought an exciting array of activities for Classes I and II, including Hurdle Race, Balloon Balance Race, Frog Race, Lemon and Spoon Race, Book Balance Race, and Sack Race, each showcasing balance, coordination, and confidence. A graceful display of Yoga and Wushu by Pre-Primary and Primary students highlighted strength, flexibility, and discipline.
The momentum continued with Sports activities for Classes III to V, featuring 50-metre Small Hurdle Race, 50-metre Sprint, Three-Leg Race, Frog Race, 100-metre Sprint, and more, drawing loud cheers from the audience. The Peacock Dance presented by Classes I and III emerged as a visual delight with its colourful formations and rhythmic precision.
The day concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where young achievers were felicitated for their outstanding performances. |
