SAMBA, Nov 25: Continuing crackdown on illegal mining, Samba Police has seized seven dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material. Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharge PP Rajpura of PS Ghagwal and Incharge PP Supwal of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-5151, JK21E-5573, JK21G-6585, JK21E-2447, JK08F-1273, JK02CJ-5591 and JK02BB-7986 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area. The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
