Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 25: Reinforcing its commitment toward the health and holistic development of young learners, Supertech Kids Valley Playway School, located opposite Police Post, Talab Tillo, Jammu, organized a detailed medical eye check-up camp for the children at its campus.
The eye screening was conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Kunal Jain, Director, Kamal Nayan Vision Centre, Jain Nagar, Talab Tillo, who examined the kids and assessed their vision health. The camp included comprehensive eye evaluations focusing on refractive errors, squint, lazy eye, visual clarity, and other common childhood eye issues. Dr. Jain also provided valuable guidance on eye hygiene, balanced nutrition, proper lighting while studying, and the need to limit screen time among children.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kunal Jain appreciated the initiative taken by the school management, emphasizing that early eye check-ups help in identifying vision problems at the right time, thereby preventing long-term complications and supporting better academic performance and overall development in children.
To acknowledge the contribution of the medical team, the Chairman of the School, Mr. Puneet Mahajan, presented a memento to Dr. Kunal Jain as a token of appreciation for his dedicated efforts and valuable service toward the welfare of the students.
The Principal of the School, Miss Meenakshi Gupta, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the medical team headed by Dr. Jain. She praised their professional approach and highlighted that the school remains committed not only to academic excellence but also to ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of its students. She further stated that such health initiatives will continue to be organized regularly for the benefit of the children.
Parents also appreciated the school for conducting this meaningful health initiative, recognizing its importance in safeguarding the vision and overall health of their children.
Supertech Kids Valley Playway School continues to take proactive steps in providing a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment for its young learners by integrating health awareness programs into its educational framework.
