| Police recovers over 10 stolen motorcycle, major theft network busted | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25: Jammu Police, South Zone has made a significant breakthrough by recovering more than 10 stolen motorcycles and busting an active theft network operating across multiple parts of Jammu. Acting under the overall supervision of SP South Jammu and continuous guidance of SDPO South, police station Gangyal launched a focused crackdown after noticing a sudden spike in vehicle thefts within its jurisdiction. SHO Police Station Gangyal formed special teams to trace the culprits, with a dedicated unit led by PSI Atta-ur-Rehman, assisted by SgCT Manpreet Singh and SPO Tarsem Lal. The team conducted extensive field work, analyzed crime patterns, worked on technical inputs, and searched several suspected locations commonly used for concealing stolen vehicles. Their persistent and systematic efforts resulted in the recovery of over 10 motorcycles linked to multiple theft cases across different police stations. This major recovery sends a strong message to criminal elements that Jammu Police is fully committed to maintaining law and order. The coordinated supervision of senior officers and round-the-clock efforts of the Gangyal team have reinforced public confidence. Further investigation continues, and more recoveries and arrests are anticipated as the network is completely dismantled. |
