Vijaypur, Nov 27: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College Vijaypur organised an offline quiz competition under various clubs, including Yuva Mission, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Shikshit Bharat, and NSS, to commemorate the celebration of Samvidhaan Divas (Constitution Day).
The programme was held under the patronage of Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht. The event was coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat, Convenor IQACandDr. Anoop Singh (Lecturer, Dept. of History). The quiz was hosted by Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal (Lecturer, Dept. of Education) who engaged the participants through interactive and thought-provoking questions based on the Constitution of India.
A total of three teams comprising nine participantswith 5 rounds of questions took part in the quiz. Team A secured the first position. The winning team members were:
• Ruhi, B.A. Semester 1
• Bani, B.A. Semester 1
• Sharavan Narayan Mathur,B.A. Semester 1
The quiz was adjudged by Prof. Mamta Gupta (Associate Professor, Dept of Commerce). The event aimed to create awareness among students about the Constitution of India and to promote constitutional values through participatory learning.
The event was co-coordinated with the support of faculty members vizDr. Manoj Heer (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Dogri), Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (Assistant Professor, Dept. of English), Prof Meetu Sharma (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Geography), Dr. Pooja Gupta (Lecturer, Dept. of Commerce).
