JAMMU, Nov 27: Jammu Police have achieved success in a theft case registered under FIR No. 66/2025 U/S 305(a), 331(3) BNS at Police Station Bus Stand. The case, reported on 02/11/2025, saw sustained and well-coordinated efforts by the investigation team to trace the accused and recover the stolen property.
During the investigation, one suspect-Hamid Parvez, S/o Parvez Ahmed, R/o Tund Hidyal, Tehsil & District Kishtwar-came under suspicion. Through detailed questioning, technical analysis, and continuous follow-up, his involvement was conclusively established, leading to his arrest.
Based on disclosures made by the accused during interrogation, the investigation team conducted multiple raids at different locations. These efforts resulted in the phased recovery of several stolen household items, including:
Refrigerator - 01
Gas Cylinders - 04
Geysers - 02
Induction - 01
Inverter - 01
Gas Chulha - 01
Each recovered item was seized on the spot under proper seizure memos, sealed, and deposited in the Malkhana of Police Station Bus Stand.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the involvement of any other persons and to effect additional recoveries.
