RAJOURI, Nov 27: A police party of Police Station Rajouri while on routine patrolling duty near Tariq Bridge Rajouri intercepted two persons identified as:
Amjed Ali S/O Baker Majeed R/O Dodaj Darhal Rajouri
Munshi Khan S/O Khan Mohd R/O Dhanore Rajouri.
During checking, 5.50 grams of heroin like narcotic substance was recovered from the possession of Amjed Ali S/O Baker Majeed and 3.10 grams of Heroin like narcotics Substance was recovered from the possession of Munshi Khan S/O Khan Mohd R/O Dhanour, Rajouri.
In this regard a case FIR No. 576/2025 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri. Both accused have been arrested and investigation is underway.
The forward and backward linkages of the accused are being investigated to trace their associates and identify the source and destination of the contraband. |
