Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 28: The inaugural Jammu Veteran League Cricket Tournament Edition 1, an event successfully conceptualized and organized by the Samvedna Club under the chairmanship of Keshav Chopra, reached its grand finale yesterday with the United Cricket Club lifting the championship trophy. The 10-day tournament, which commenced on November 20, 2025, resonated with a powerful and essential social message, operating under the banner, "Say No to Drugs and Yes to Sports." The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished political figures. Sat Sharma CA BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP, served as the Chief Guest, while Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East, attended as the Guest of Honor. The audience also included other prominent special invitees, such as Former Minister Priya Sethi, BJP Vice President Rekha Mahajan, BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, and Secretaries Reema Padha and Arun Kumar Sharma, Parbhari Jammu Brijeshwar Singh Rana and District President BJP Rajesh Gupta.
