| For grand and divine organization of 2027 Kumbh, Chief Minister held meeting with Acharyas and saints of Akharas | | | Early Times Report
Dehradun, Nov 28: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday held a meeting on the banks of River Ganga in Haridwar with the Acharyas and saints of all 13 Akharas regarding the grand preparations for the 2027 Haridwar Kumbh. This is the first time that such a meeting has been organized on the Ganga ghat for the Kumbh preparations. During the meeting, the Chief Minister also announced the important bathing dates for Kumbh 2027. He announced the bathing dates as follows: * 14 January 2027 – Makar Sankranti * 06 February 2027 – Mauni Amavasya * 11 February 2027 – Basant Panchami * 20 February 2027 – Magh Purnima * 06 March 2027 – Mahashivratri (Amrit Snan) * 08 March 2027 – Phalgun Amavasya (Amrit Snan) * 07 April 2027 – Nav Samvatsar (New Year) * 14 April 2027 – Mesh Sankranti (Amrit Snan) * 15 April 2027 – Shriram Navami * 20 April 2027 – Chaitra Purnima The Chief Minister sought suggestions and guidance from the Acharyas for the successful organization of Kumbh. He said that in all decisions related to the Kumbh, the traditions, requirements, and conveniences of the saints would be given the highest priority. He added that it was his privilege to receive the blessings and guidance of the saint community for the smooth and grand organization of the Kumbh. Without the inspiration, suggestions, and blessings of the saints, the completion of this mega event is unimaginable. The aim is to make the preparations for Kumbh 2027 more extensive, systematic, and aligned with the expectations of the saint community. |
