VIJAYPUR, Nov 28: Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur under various clubs, including Yuva Mission, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Shikshit Bharat, and NSS organised a vibrant and engaging painting competition to commemorate the celebration of Samvidhaan Diwas, also known as Constitution Day of India.
The event was organised under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht who appreciated the efforts of both students and faculty in making the programme a success. The event was coordinated by Prof. Anoop Kumar Bhagat (Associate Professor, Dept of Sociology) The initiative aimed to educate students about the values, ideals, and significance of the Indian Constitution while providing them with a creative platform to express their understanding through art.
A panel of jury members, comprising Prof. Mamta Gupta (Associate Professor, Dept. of Commerce) & Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Associate Professor, Dept, of Education), after threadbare scrutiny adjudged the winners as:-
First Prize: Anjali Bhagat, B.A. Semester 1
Second Prize: Ruhi, B.A. Semester 1
Third Prize: Tanish Dhotra, B.A. Semester 1
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Manisha Bharti (Lecturer, Dept. of Computer Applications) who expressed gratitude to the principal, faculty members, participating students, and organisers for their support and contribution to the success of the event.
