CHENNAI, Nov 30: The third day of the ongoing National Art Workshop "Rang-E-Khiza", organised by MSCBMC Trust in collaboration with Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL), brought an energetic blend of music and creativity to Government Girls Middle School, Upper Karlah, Zone Chenani. The day turned special with a live singing session by Master Younis, Mubashir Dar, and Tabaan Feroz, whose soulful performances captivated the young audience. Students listened in awe, clapped along to the rhythms, and interacted joyfully with the performers. The musical engagement boosted their confidence and added a refreshing cultural dimension to the ongoing art activities. Alongside the musical programme, national-level artists: Sharmila Sharma (Delhi), Rakhi Kumar (Delhi), Manish K. Rao (Delhi), Jiwan Biswas (Kolkata), Sanghpal Mhaske (Maharashtra), Aditya Shankar Prasad (Delhi), Rahul Mhetre (Mumbai), Taslim Sona (Rajasthan), Apurba Karati (West Bengal), and Rakhee Kumari (Patna)-continued their live art demonstrations and interactive sessions. Students observed them closely, drawing inspiration from their creativity and techniques. MSCBMC Trust President Anuradha Rishi, daughter of legendary artist Master Sansar Chand Baru, encouraged students to embrace creativity without fear. She reiterated that Rang-E-Khiza is not just an art workshop but a platform that nurtures imagination, courage, and self-expression. "Music and art together create a powerful learning environment. These experiences stay with children for life," she said. She also acknowledged the participating artists for their dedication and thanked the local administration and school staff for their continuous support. Teachers and organisers described Day 3 as one of the most engaging so far, as rural students were exposed to both fine arts and performing arts-an experience rarely available in remote areas. |
