Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 8: MBA students of the School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), visited Dabur India Ltd., Bari Brahmana to gainpractical exposure to industrial operations and production management. During the visit, Dabur officials briefed students on the manufacturing workflow, including raw material processing, packaging, quality control, and technology-manpower coordination. Students also learned about operational challenges, managerial responses, and control mechanisms within the production system. All student queries were addressed with clarity and detailed explanations. The visit was organised by Dr. Ketan Bhatt, Assistant Professor, under the guidance of Prof. Ashutosh Vashishtha, Dean, Faculty of Management, SMVDU and Dr. Arti Maini, Head, School of Business, SMVDU. The visit was facilitated by Mr. B. K. Bhatia, TPO, and Dr. Rashi Taggar, MBA Coordinator, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution and meaningful learning outcomes. More than 70 students participated, along with accompanying faculty members Dr. Ketan Bhatt, Dr. Divya Singh Jamwal, Dr. Ritu Rana, and Dr. Sarabjot Singh who played an instrumental role in ensuring the success of the visit.
